Kinematics is a Simple bu tricky Topic.
First and the foremost thing that you know is to know
What Is Kinematics ?
Kinematics is the branch of classical mechanics that describes the motion of points, bodies (objects) and systems of bodies (groups of objects). The study of kinematics is often referred to as the geometry of motion.
Now you know what Kinematic is, lets take a little more deeper look of Kinematics.
Another name given to Kinematics is Speed, Velocity and Acceleration.
The first thing that comes in Kinematics is Distance and Displacement.

Distance and Displacement
Distance is the total length covered by a moving Object.
Displacement is the distance from the starting point to the current position of the Object.
Now many of you will be confused What I am really trying to say. Lets Explain this With the help of a diagram.
So we can say that Displacement is the length of a straight line from starting point to the End Point while Distance is the total length of the route taken.
Similarly
In This Diagram
Key: D= Displacement
d=Distance.
Hope you have understand the difference between Distance and Displacement.
